The Approach — What We Weighed

The business was bleeding leads in the seams between three disconnected tools, so the first question was whether to wire those tools together or replace them with one.

Options on the table

• Integrate the existing storefront, directory and lead tools with connectors — least disruptive, but the same three systems drifting out of sync, now with fragile glue between them.
• A best-of-breed SaaS bundle plus a shared CRM — polished parts, yet no single owner of the lead as it moves from form to voice agent to contractor.
• A unified platform on one data model — storefront, contractor network and AI voice capture sharing one source of truth, at the cost of a larger build.

What we proposed

We built the unified platform. A hot lead dies in the handoff, so the handoff had to disappear — one data model means the AI voice agent qualifies a caller and routes them to a contractor without crossing a system boundary. Contractors, customers and the platform owner all work in the same admin instead of reconciling three portals. The bigger build bought the thing the client actually needed: orders, network and leads that can't drift apart because they were never separate.
