The Challenge

Liquor store owners were re-uploading inventory to Uber Eats and DoorDash by hand, then losing money to oversells when stock didn't match in real time.

Each platform had its own quirks, and nobody had time to learn three admin panels.

Our Solution

We built a custom AI-driven platform that keeps inventory and pricing in sync across delivery partners and surfaces what's actually selling.

The owner manages one system; the deliveries take care of themselves.

What We Built

  • Real-time inventory and price sync to Uber Eats and DoorDash.
  • Smart monitoring for stockouts, overselling and pricing drift.
  • Sales analytics across delivery channels and in-store.
  • Single admin replacing three vendor portals.

The Approach — What We Weighed

The owner's pain was manual re-uploads and oversells, so the question was how to keep one inventory truth in sync with marketplaces we don't control.

Options on the table

  • Keep managing each marketplace's own admin panel — no build cost, but the nightly hand-updates and mismatched stock that caused the problem in the first place.
  • An off-the-shelf menu-sync middleware — faster to switch on, yet a rented black box between the store and its sales data, with little control over sync logic or analytics.
  • A custom platform that owns inventory and pushes to Uber Eats and DoorDash — one source of truth and our own sync rules, in exchange for building against each partner's API.

What we proposed

We built the custom platform. Overselling is a timing problem, and only a system that owns the master inventory can settle it — so pricing and stock flow outward to the delivery partners, never the reverse. Owning the pipe also let us surface the cross-channel sales analytics a generic sync tool would keep to itself. The owner runs one admin, the deliveries stay consistent, and the data belongs to the store rather than a middleman.
