The Approach — What We Weighed

The decision that shaped everything was integration versus assembly — the firm's pain was context lost between separate tools, so bolting AI onto a stack of point products would have recreated the exact problem.

Options on the table

• Stitch together existing research, document-review and case-management SaaS with connectors — familiar tools, but attorneys keep switching apps and privileged data scatters across vendors.
• A single integrated platform with the AI layer built in — one product across the matter lifecycle, at the cost of more to build up front.
• Buy a general case-management system and customize it — faster start, but Colorado practice specifics and the audit trail end up fighting someone else's data model.
